Only a separation will work.
Separate the leeches from the workers monies.
Start with one state (Texas perhaps) and declare independence from the welfare state and create a new republic.
The leeches would flood out of the new republic seeking new welfare payments to replace what had been lost.
The hard-working and intelligent would flood into the new republic seeking relief from over taxation and crime.
Other states would wilt under the increased load of welfare refugees. Those states would soon seek to join the new republic and thus rid themselves of their burden of useless leeches.
Rinse/repeat
This scheme can only work if enacted under a republican president....otherwise there would be much bloodshed. That means a repub president would have to have the intellect and the will to partition the nation while his party was in power... a hard decision to make. (Newt could do it...he’s just crazy enough)
I don't understand something. How will the last state get rid of the leeches? They are pretty much unemployable.
Note also that leeches are not extraterrestrials that once came to this Earth and there is only so many of them. Leeches are formed within the society as soon the society becomes rich enough to support sick and infirm. Then the boundaries of the needy class quickly expand to include pretty much anyone who wants to be included, all under the pretext of "we must be kind to those poor people..."
