Look at all the nations settled by the Spainards and their descendants. Mexico, Latin and South America, the Phillippines and Cuba all suffer from one problem or another. Poverty, lawlessness, political corruption, unstable governments and civil unrest. A good many of these countries are of Third World status especially those nations to our south who have so graciously allowed their citizens to invade us. We’re now the biggest and most wealthy of these nations and if the pattern holds we don’t have a bright future ahead of us.
Exactly the point made more than 100 years ago in William Graham Sumner’s famous essay, “The Conquest of the United States of America by Spain”.
