I realize it is not easy but shunning LIB relatives is the thing to do. Save your self the aggravation.
Most of the time I don’t talk politics with my lib relatives. I have six sisters and three brothers. One sister is a huge lib, lives in CA and shows up whenever Susan Sarandon needs live bodies for a protest. Two of my other sisters are mildly lib. This summer one of the mild libs told me and another sibling that she didn’t want us talking politics around the campfire when we were visiting our folks at their Michigan cabin. But wouldn’t you know it? My dad and uncle began a really fun dialogue on the evils of Obamacare. My lib sister did not enter into the conversation. After a while my brother and I began to chime in. At a certain point she just went inside the cabin.
