drive slowly but purposefully ahead. If they don’t get out of the way run them over. I do not understand why a driver fails to use the 3000 pound weapon at hand. The Reginald Denny story would have been much different if he had used his weapon....

Good advice.
Moving slowly enough to allow them to get out of the way places the responsibility for getting run over clearly on them. Could save you a lot of legal grief later.

Exactly this. I've been in personal security seminars and this topic is generally covered and this is instruction: Just. Drive. Away.

People that will not move are threatening your life because they are in league with someone who will pull you out of the car and kill you.
