I remember taking a sack lunch to school K-12 as we could not afford school food. K-8th there was no cafeteria you ate at your desk and got a half pint of milk for 25 cents a week.

Then you went outside and played on the playground for the rest of the 45 mins. You had 15 mins to eat. Bad weather you went to the Gym.
