We went through this whole process four years ago when phony "fiscal conservative" RINO Mark Kirk was elected U.S. Senator from Illinois to "stop" Obama, and he's become best pals with Obama and done more damage in the Senate than his lame duck RAT predecessor (Roland Burris) ever did. The media gushed over the fact that a "highly respected decorated military veteran Republican Mark Kirk" had "evolved" on gay marriage, for example.
The fact people would now elect phony "fiscal conservative" RINO Bruce Rauner shows they have learned nothing. None one of these allegedly "fiscally conservative" RINOs has actually governed that way after they get in, but people keep drinking the kool-aid over and over again. Very definition of insanity..
I hope no one thought that Rauner was fiscally conservative, since he wants to increase the sales tax rate and increase the minimum wage. I hope all Illinois voters think that he’s slightly less liberal than Quinn.
