I love it!

I have been trying to find a good version of “Simple Little System”, as it was so clever and cool, but there seems to be only one, by the Boston Conservatory, and doesn’t do the song justice.

The premise is unique...a bunch of bookies are using an answering service to book horses, but they are pretending to be a Classical Music Record Company. The Composers are secretly encoded as the various racetracks:
Who is Beethoven? (Belmont park!)
Where’s Puccini? (Pimlico!)
Who is Humperdink? (Hollywood!)

(The chorus rises to a crescendo singing:)

WHO is Handel? Hialeah! Hialeah! (to the tune of the Hallelujah Chorus) LOL.

I remember singing this song to my fourth grade class, and everyone was totally dumbfounded.

I’ve been weird for a long, long time.

'Chocolate' Rodriguez - El Chocolate, ( [ I Am, as in, I Am The One Whose Nickname Is..... ] El Chocolate )

Chocolate? I read there is a shortage coming! Has the male species made preperations for the fallout that is ineviatable?

This could get ugly....:)

Save yourself Gram! *Hugs*

A DOSE OF MUSICAL SANITY

Frank Sinatra: “New York, New York”

The film will be remembered as a noble failure for Martin Scorsese. It was supposed to be a Liza Minelli and Robert DeNiro film, but George Auld walked away with it with his sour performance as a jaded bandleader.

A lady friend whom I haven’t seen in 20 years is coming to Seattle. I’m taking her to Vancouver and Victoria, and then I’ll be spending Thanksgiving with her and her cousins in Seattle.

What amuses me is that chocolate in its raw form is extremely bitter. Tons of sugar have to be added to make it palatable. ;-) But then, sugar is what drives you females!
