AUSTIN, Texas -- "It's a very real possibility" that the state of Texas would file a lawsuit to block President Barack Obama's plan to enact sweeping immigration reforms by executive order, said Texas Governor Rick Perry in a speech at the Republican Governors Association's (RGA) annual meeting in Boca Raton, Florida on Wednesday. Obama is scheduled to unveil his plans in a prime time speech on Thursday evening, to allow millions of illegal immigrants to avoid deportation by what is known as "deferred action," a move that was also strongly opposed by the other Republican Governors at the meeting, leading to immigration dominating the discussions on the first full day of the RGA's event, as reported by the AP. Other governors in attendance, including Gov. Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin) and Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-Louisiana), agreed with Perry that a lawsuit would be an appropriate response to Obama's executive order.

Perry's successor, Governor-elect Greg Abbott, took a similarly critical stance against the President's plan in an appearance on Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor, saying that Obama did not have the legal authority to waive immigration laws for millions of people at once.

As Breitbart Texas' Kristin Tate reported, Abbott has vowed to file suit in federal court "as soon as possible" after Obama signs his executive order. "We are prepared to assert legal action against the President because we believe that what the President is doing is completely unconstitutional," said Abbott. "He has a legal obligation to enforce the laws, [and] immigration is assigned by the Constitution to the United States Congress to determine, not the President."

Perry is on his way out. I think he is talking about Abbott and what Abbot is gearing up to do. From what I have read of Greg Abbott, I like what I read.

No one is doing that I know. Don’t understand what is meant by Threat Matrix.
My concern is Abbot’s office is waiting for the EOs to attach to their motion filing and he should’t wait because it may never come. I don’t trust the accuracy of the reporting from Fox News that reports Obama signed 2 EOs on AF1 today in Vegas. I have yet to see the actual signed EOs and they are not yet listed where other EOs are listed.
Abbott does not need the EOs. He can file against the solicitation for the CARDS and he can use DACA issuance of CARDS as evidence and complicity in the fraud.
Need to get this information to Abbott’s deputies so he can see how the other side is playing him.
How coincidental that Hal Rogers - head of the Appropriations Committee - has come out saying that the House cannot defund 0’s EO...due to the CIS fees issue.
And...this same Hal Rogers (RINO-KY), has received thousands of $$ in donations from General Dynamics employees...General Dynamics just happens to have the contract to print the green cards for all of these *amnestied by 0’s EO” illegals.

So just to be clear what’s going on here let us connect all the dots: Multi-billion dollar government contractor General Dynamics has a plant to print green cards in Corbin, Kentucky, in Congressman Hal Rogers’ district. Rogers has received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from General Dynamics’ employees. The company stands to make millions printing up to 34 million green cards for illegal aliens who receive amnesty under Obama’s illegal executive amnesty. Hal Rogers is the main proponent and architect of a bill to fund Obama’s planned amnesty AND provide the money that would pay General Dynamics perhaps as much as $125 million to print green cards and other documents for the illegal immigrants to whom Obama will give amnesty.

I don’t think it’s coincidental at all.
This line of CARD making business for General Dynamics barely registers on their financials; it’s so small. I am sure as I told Publius that the top brass at GD could be reassured that their core and most profitable businesses with the federal government would be untouched if they backed away from involvement in this ‘SURGE’ of CARD making.
However, what’s small to GD overall can be a large chunk of business to the plant in Corbin, KY, hence why Rogers is blowing smoke.
Cruz and Abbot need to get on top of this. What Conservative in the House can corner Rogers and read him the riot act or throw him a bone for his small GD group in KY?

Where is this E/O? There is a summary on the White House Website but no signed order. Without the signed E/O, states may find it difficult to proceed in the Courts. It is probable that Obama's people know that a signed E/O can be used as the basis for states' court action.....possibly the Obama people are tying up court action by not issuing and officially signed E/O.

There are rumors that Obama is not planning on signing an E/O, just directing federal departments by informal communications on what they must do. That includes issuing ID CARDS which triggers issuance of work permits, SSNs and illegal registrations to vote.
REALITY CHECK It is being reported that he will issue orders and not sign an E/O. The Las Vegas rally was billed as the "E/O signing ceremony." Anybody actually see it?

EXHIBIT B ---Back in October 2011, Cong Gohmert questioned then-DHS Secy Janet Napolitano about Obama appointee, Mohamed Elibiary, a member of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with a high level security clearance, who allegedly accessed, illegally from his home computer, a Texas State and Local Intelligence Community database.....(Elibiary is now out--ousted for shady activities).

Patriot Cong Randy Forbes said Americans need to know if violent gang members are walking their streets. Forbes asked Obama appointee to USCIS (A DHS agency) Leon Rodrigues---whether the agency asked applicants about gang membership---and when they invariably reply no, how does the agency know whether it's true or not?
The calculated Rodriguez would not reveal information---Forbes insisted on knowing "do you even ask them if they're gang members."
Even more interesting was watching brilliant Cong Louie Gohmert (Rep-Tx) set the trap for the oily Rodriguez.

Finding out whether 0 registered as a foreign agent would be like finding the Rosetta stone...
It would answer questions on one hand, but also cause more to be asked.... such as:
Why is a foreign agent being allowed to be president;
Doesn’t that disqualify him from office?
Why is a foreign agent being allowed access to (above)top secret info?
