Jennings closes schools next week in expectation of grand jury decision

Fairview is just up the street from the Jennings Police Station where Officer Wilson served before moving to Ferguson. It is in a neighborhood that was destroyed by gangs who moved in from the city; prostitution, illegal weapons, drugs, stolen autos and other property. Many of the houses are uninhabitable or have been razed. Before the Jennings disbanded the police department, gangs were putting out contracts on the heads of Jennings police officers.
