RE: Congress tells the directors of the departments that would implement the EO that they will be charged w/contempt of congress if they do.

Actually if you really think about it....

Obama did not (yep you hread it right, DID NOT) exactly grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

He just said that henceforth the government wasn’t going to do anything about enforcing the law. Worried about being deported? Relax. “All we’re saying is we’re not going to deport you.”

So, what’s Congress to do in this case? charge the directors of departments for NOT DOING what they’re supposed to do? How do you prove that?

How do you prove that?

THROUGH THE STATES!!

If the states arrest and run background checks (which most do), they then notify the Federal agencies. When the agencies refuse to pick them up, refuse to prosecute, refuse to deport, or anything along those lines - start the charges!!

Failure to uphold the law is a violation by each Cabinet Secretary, and underling.

I recommend we get busy defunding / impeaching / convicting each of THEM who enforce unconstitutional edicts rather than the law.

Impeaching 0bama is a fool’s errand in the last two years.

Destroying his underlings by the thousands in the mean-time is just and right.
