Of course. He can never work as a cop again. Poor man’s life is ruined just for doing his job.

Must be nice to be in a job were you can negotiate your own paid retirement...The big joke was the cop boss there in Ferguson said the department would welcome back Wilson if found innocent......Was there anyone on the planet who believed a word of that?

I’d negotiate a fat check, 24/7 protection and a nice tropical island home.

Take the pension, write a book, and hit the talk show circuit.

And, move to Texas.

Move next to Marcus Luttrell ;)

On second thought he should stay and make them fire him. He can sue and live a comfortable life later, IN TEXAS. Hell, I would I'd put him at the front desk with armed guards to kill any critters that tried to cause trouble in the police station. Use Officer Darren to bait dumb ass feral criminals and kill them.

Word from LEO sources in the greater St. Louis area is that they are preparing for release of the grand jury results on Sunday.

Good timing...maybe all the Ferguson residents will be too busy getting up and getting ready for WORK as the announcement is read.

Would be nice to see the city sue the pressure groups to recoup the costs of hiding this guy.

Anyone arrested for riot or anything other than peaceful non-violent protest should be assessed additional fees corresponding to the cost of keeping the peace AND for Officer Wilson. Works for me!

The problem affects all white and Asian police nationwide, at least until King Soetoro leaves.

This is like the scene from Appaloosa when the judge asks the witness if he owns a horse and tells him to get on it and ride.

Maybe they should wait for the next big snow storm and release the findings then?

Unfortunately we're not Buffalo and we don't get a lot of snow here. My suggestion would be to wait until Thursday night and then release it. The protester's base will all be in line at Walmart waiting for the Black Friday stampede.

So, will Officer Wilson’s replacement be an “affirmative action” officer?

I’d negotiate a fat check, 24/7 protection and a nice tropical island home.

If he tries to negotiate any kind of payout then what's to stop the Ferguson PD from saying instead, "Welcome back to work, Darren. We've got you scheduled to walk a beat from midnight to 8 along the street where the Brown shooting occurred. Dress warm."

The police didn't like or trust the population before the shooting and that won't change now. And the population didn't like or trust the police before the shooting and that's not going to change either. Doesn't matter who they hire to replace Wilson.

If you honestly believe that Wilson's going to come out of this with anything but his skin intact and maybe a few thousand dollars in severence then I can' help you either.

I’m with you - every police officer should resign. Today. Let them burn the city down.

I see a reality TV show where he, Tuffy Gessling and George Zimmerman live together, in hiding. Maybe throw in Donald Sterling as well.

There would most likely be a confidentiality clause.

Rural midwest and plains states need cops. And he will be considered a hero there.
