Appearing on MSNBC after President Obama’s speech announcing executive amnesty, Democratic Congressman Luis Gutierrez told host Rachel Maddow that Republican disbelieved Obama’s border claims because they wanted to use “xenophobia” and “bigotry” against Mexicans.
MADDOW: The first thing the President announced tonight in his three part plan was yet further resources to the border, yet more resources in terms of stopping people from crossing in the first place, catching them when they do, and sending them back. [Republican operative Steve Schmidt] said no Republican in the country believes that is true. That’s obviously a fake assertion. What’s behind the refusal to believe that deportations are at an all-time high, that border enforcement are at an all-time high? Why is that seen as a myth if you’re a Republican?
GUTIERREZ: Because I think, look, if you want to make it about people from Latin America, if you want to use xenophobia, if you want to use bigotry and hatred and presidents [sic], then you want to mix up the facts. The fact is that 40 percent of the undocumented didn’t come through that border. They came through LAX they came through JFK they came through O’Hare, they came through Miami. They came here legally to this country, and overstay.
And one of the congressman, he said when they crossed into America. Because it’s always about crossing into America. Guess what, they fly into America and they come on boats to America and they come here to do a number of different things and they overstay. They don’t want to talk about it. They always want to make this about our neighbors to the South.
Yeah....

Amyone that dares to stand against this will be deemed a “RACIST!!!!” and a “HATER!!!!” by Obama’s media allies.
(If they want to keep those cushy media jobs, at least)
Can’t wait to see how the Daily Show plays this. That will ell us EVERYTHING we need to know.

Why do illegal Latinos deserve the right to use living next door, document fraud, break many other laws and expect themselves to be 99% of all the people deserving amnesty, isn't that racist?
Why not allow a representative sample from all around the world including Africa, Ireland, England, Japan and so on.
Why mostly Latinos, isn't that racist?
Wouldn't it be harder for someone who shares a local border to feel any loyalty to the United States?
Wouldn't people from farther away who distance themselves more from their born country probably be more likely to become better candidates as citizens being it isn't easy to go back?

It wasn’t that long ago that we had posters here at FR using that language against border patriots. Things have certainly improved since Dubya’s amnesty pushers were able to get people banned. Wardaddy can speak to that from personal experience.
As one with latino heritage, I say close the friggin’ border.
So I suppose that Mexicans are xenophobic as well. Don’t they deport all of the Guatemalans, Salvadoreans, and all other Latin American groups who cross their southern border? Gutierrez is an America hater. He has no interest in protecting America. Instead, he wants to turn the country into a dumping ground for all of these third world, unskilled, uneducated, and diseased people. I hope the Canadians are watching all of this and will be vigilant about their immigration laws, and won’t make the same mistakes we have made. We did this to ourselves.

Leftists are so clueless about what bigotry is,they don’t or won’t recognize it in themselves.
If I hear one more time about our "black" president, I will puke. He's half WHITE!, and totally ignores that heritage. So does Holder.
