Appearing on MSNBC after President Obama’s speech announcing executive amnesty, Democratic Congressman Luis Gutierrez told host Rachel Maddow that Republican disbelieved Obama’s border claims because they wanted to use “xenophobia” and “bigotry” against Mexicans.
MADDOW: The first thing the President announced tonight in his three part plan was yet further resources to the border, yet more resources in terms of stopping people from crossing in the first place, catching them when they do, and sending them back. [Republican operative Steve Schmidt] said no Republican in the country believes that is true. That’s obviously a fake assertion. What’s behind the refusal to believe that deportations are at an all-time high, that border enforcement are at an all-time high? Why is that seen as a myth if you’re a Republican?
GUTIERREZ: Because I think, look, if you want to make it about people from Latin America, if you want to use xenophobia, if you want to use bigotry and hatred and presidents [sic], then you want to mix up the facts. The fact is that 40 percent of the undocumented didn’t come through that border. They came through LAX they came through JFK they came through O’Hare, they came through Miami. They came here legally to this country, and overstay.
And one of the congressman, he said when they crossed into America. Because it’s always about crossing into America. Guess what, they fly into America and they come on boats to America and they come here to do a number of different things and they overstay. They don’t want to talk about it. They always want to make this about our neighbors to the South.
What is it?About these liberal democrats.The Immigration system is or was designed to benefit the United States,Not burden it with uneducated,parasites from the third world.
As a result it is our prerogative to pick who we believe would be of benefit to our country.
It’s time the Republicans get out and fight these winers crying for the import of more third world parasites that we the working taxpayers will be supporting.
And delusional people keep shouting “The Race Card Has DECLINED!”
How can it, when there’s no expiration date and an infinite limit?

Wrong again Luis. “Republicans” were all set to (again) send a border enforcement bill up the chain. After that, reform was going to happen. You know it, and hussein knows it. Of course enforcement first would have with it the undesirable effect of a million or so self-deportees, so good thing you got that amnesty deal going first.

Don’t moan about it here—let your reps know—especially the Dems—how you feel about EO Amnesty.

Actually, the bigotry is not against Latinos. It’s against the other races. Why should Latinos be preferenced in this immigration policy change? It seems that Europeans, Asians, and Africans should be given an equal chance to immigrate.

After destroying the best health care system in the world, Obama is determined to grant wide amnesty to foreigners living illegally in U.S. If Obama wants to make the U.S. into another banana republic, it seems he is well underway to reaching his goal.
The Republicans must make it perfectly clear that Obama has declared a merciless war against the American workers and the middle class of America. There are 92 million of able Americans out of the work force because they cannot find employment and Obama wants to legalize and give work permits to over 11 million illegal aliens allowing them to bring here the rest of their families. In other words, another 25 or 30 million that either will compete with Americans and legal immigrants searching for scarce jobs or are going to be added to welfare, bankrupting Medicaid and the food stamp system as well as ruining even more the quality of the public schools with the massive infuse of hundreds of thousands of children without speaking English to already overburdened schools systems.
Blacks are going to be the main collateral victims of Obama's anti-Black amnesty. Black Americans are already suffering higher unemployment since Obama took power. Obama’s new class of protected immigrants will take over their jobs and Blacks will be forced to share their welfare checks and food stamps with them
The White House and the media understand that this is simply a desperate attempt to import enough voters so that Democrats can win an election, hopefully many elections. But, without this influx of new voters, they are done for, and they know it.
White voters have figured this out and are abandoning the Democrat Party in droves. This wasn’t supposed to happen. You can be sure that the White House and the media are going to redouble their efforts to make sure that Blacks and legal immigrant Hispanics don’t find out and abandon the Democrats as well. Silence will be their watchword.

“Xenophobic” means “afraid of the strange,” right? OK I’m xenophobic. I’m afraid of the strange desire to destroy the greatest republic ever established on the face of the earth.
Well, that’s a little better than working for the Islamofascists, like Obama.
