Last night’s presidential address on decreeing that millions of illegal aliens can stay here in violation of the law contained a deep deceit, buried in words that were, on the surface, true. President Obama’s rhetoric left the impression that at last, illegal immigrants would “pay their fair share.” From the official transcript:
We expect that those who cut the line will not be unfairly rewarded. So we’re going to offer the following deal: If you’ve been in America for more than five years; if you have children who are American citizens or legal residents; if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes -- you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily without fear of deportation. You can come out of the shadows and get right with the law. That’s what this deal is. (snip) (emphasis added)
…millions of people who live here without paying their taxes or playing by the rules while politicians use the issue to scare people and whip up votes at election time.
The problem with this rhetoric is that very few illegal immigrants make enough money to actually pay taxes. Instead, their “fair share” will amount to a substantial gift from American citizen and legal immigrant taxpayers who have played by the rules.

Not only will they not pay income taxes, many are likely to get a check from the IRS, thanks to the Orwellian-named Earned Income Tax Credit, which send a gift from taxpayers to low income families.
Most of illegals Obama just gave “Amnesty” to will now receive the “Earned Income Credit” subsidy, amounting to THOUSANDS of dollars, each.
They will NOT be paying Taxes!

There was a picture last week,, of the new secretary of HhS saying the “ we “ must find a way to give Obamacare to the new immigrants.
He wasn’t talking about money. He meant they would vote Rat.
“Fair share” = FICA.
If you thought the enrollment numbers for obamacare are lower than expected wait till you see how few Illegals line up for these applications, which is being reported to not roll out till early next year.

THE FACTS: The numbers certainly surged this year, but it was more than a “brief spike.” The number of unaccompanied children apprehended at the border has been on the rise since the 2011 budget year. That year about 16,000 children were found crossing the border alone. In 2012, the Border Patrol reported more than 24,000 children, followed by more than 38,800 in 2013. In the most recent budget year, more than 68,361 children were apprehended.
I will be surprised if very many at all “come out of the shadows.” Most illegals I’ve been around have no intention of staying in America. They are just here to work and send money home. When they get some savings, they go back to Mexico and live on the cheap. If they run out of money, they come back and work.

We used to have a program that catered to that need — THE BRACERO PROGRAM under Pres. Eisenhower. It worked well for a while until Cesar Chavez and his unions caused a huge stink about these workers undercutting union wages.
For leftists seeking a permanent captive voting majority, “their fair share” is a very large negative amount.

They get their pseudo work checks from governmental agencies or pseudo charities for doing nothing.
I heard a state rep on the radio say that 100,000 illegal aliens have been identified and are costing the state $800,000,000.
