Mike Enzi is threatening to take the Senate Budget Committee gavel from Jeff Sessions just as Republicans are readying to use their new majority and Congress’ spending authority to confront President Obama’s “executive amnesty.”
Enzi and Sessions hold equally conservative voting records. But the Wyoming senator’s power play to supplant Sessions as the top Republican on the Budget Committee is rankling immigration hawks.
They lionize the Alabama lawmaker for how he has used his committee perch to fight comprehensive immigration reform, and they expected him to use the chairmanship to help direct opposition to Obama’s executive action legalizing millions of undocumented immigrants.
“Sessions has demonstrated statesmanlike qualities in fighting for conservatives on immigration, budget, and welfare as ranking member of the Budget Committee. It makes no sense for someone like Enzi who has not led on any of those issues to challenge [him] for the chairmanship,” said Gaston Mooney, executive director of Conservative Review...

I am not sure that is what Sessions or anyone else is doing.
What has to happen first is a dedication to securing our danged borders. Its not rocket science. When you capture these folks send them back within hours not days weeks and months later.
We DO need to reform our immigration system. It cannot possibly take people 10yrs to get approvals to be here. That is just wrong. That is some of what drives folks to break the law in the first place.
Those who DID come here illegally should be made to leave, especially if they get any sort of taxpayer funding in the form of welfare, food stamps healthcare etc. You start rooting them out and they will start self deporting. You make it easy to stay that is what they will do.
Lastly, employers who knowingly hire illegals should be fined heavily enough that they don’t do that any more. I am not talking about the person who checks the lists and does the e-verify...I am talking about the people who look for ways to get around the law and there are a lot of them.
Lastly we should demand assimilation. Its easy enough to see what has happened to Europe and what is happening to us. Forget this 2 language crap...its English. Whatever language you want to cuss in is up to you but English is what the public language is. Don’t come if you don’t want to speak it.

EVERY NATION on Earth is a nation of immigrants. Throughout history, one wave would replace the native residents by force. The United States is the first in world history to actually request the replacement by invitation. The nation that couldn’t be conquered by foreign enemies has been conquered by its elected officials, just as Lincoln predicted.
We need to re-balance the white to non white ratio too. And limit the numbers to a more reasonable levels until we can restore the job losses in the US. In other words halt all immigration for at least 5 yrs, because it will take that long to undo 0’s Depression job losses.
We have highly skilled people doing Pizza delivery because there are no jobs in their fields left. It has all been farmed out to cheap overseas labor.

My grandparents on my dad’s side were part of that LEGAL Immigration before WW2. Dad fought as a US Citizen, not a naturalized one. His parents had already been through the naturalization process when he was born in the USA. And they were a large family as most Italian’s were back then. Nothing but English was allowed to be spoken. You are an AMERICAN NOW, act like one was his command.

Yeah...my grandparents emigrated here also. Thru Ellis Island...where they were poked prodded and examined...where they were questioned and were forced to wear a tag stating that they were not anarchists and they were not insane.
They just knew they were coming to “Amerrica” and they were happy and proud to be here. My grandfather dug sewer ditches in Philadelphia and worked for a time on the “George Washingaton Bridge”. In summers, they worked...the whole family, on a New Jersey farm picking peppers and tomatoes in the stifling heat. So their kids could have better.
When I hear these new ILLEGAL immigrants make demands on this country, saying they are owed this that or the other, I remember their hard work, sweat and toil and it makes my eyes fill with tears and my blood boil.
Sadly McConnell probably wants Sessions gone so he will be gone. They don’t a big fight as they want to pass amnesty.
My prediction and I hope I’m wrong is that after Jan the new GOP Congress will pass some sort of BS amnesty starting with a bill to “secure” the border which they never expect to do. Then a month or two later they will pass amnesty for about 11 million illegals and say its not amnesty and promise us all that 11 million more won’t come but they will.
I also predict that if that happens in 2016 you will see 6 million Republicans sit home instead of 3 million.
I hate this because I’d bet money McConnell the GOPe put Mike Enzi up to this, hopefully he’ll bow out and let Pete Sessions chair the committee.

If the GOPe pulls this stunt, Zero is off the hook. He can prance around whining “I didn’t do that, somebody else made that happen”.
Ah yes, that explains the whole thing. We can be assured the four traitor RINOs from the gang of eight are right in there with McConnell.
It’s shame McConnell wasn’t sent packing.

Mine worked in factories in the Chicago area. Even my US Citizen born dad worked in the steel mill, after his 6 yrs in WW2 under MacArthur where he rose to the rank of Sgt. Put OUR Flag back up on Corrigidor the ROCK under sniper fire with a PFC on a telegraph pole. They earned Bronze Stars for their volunteering to do so.
My heritage is mixed, on both sides. Celt/English/German/French to boot.
Makes mine boil too.
