Yes! And that is a counter to the general pessimism and defeatism that automatically seems to append all talk of impeachment.. ("Senate will never convict...blah, blah, blah")
The instinct for survival is strong in the perfumed, blow dried poltroons that infest the Senate. The prospect of another quantum loss in 2016 just might put the fear into 'em.

If Barry were just destroying their party, I could care less, but he’s destroying the Country. The way I see it any Democrats that were the old-style blue-dog type, are long gone and it’s all party loyalty for them.
In my own family there is great example of a smart person who marches to the Obama drum and will go following him right over the cliff, except she hasn’t figured out that Barry will step out of the way and she and the Obots that aren’t part of the Elite, will go over the cliff. Before when I would say what Barry was going to do re: Illegal Immigration, the response was, “you read that/heard that on some RIGHT-WING website” and she said that she didn’t agree with him on illegal immigration. Last night, she channeled Hillary with the arms/hands (what difference does it make?) and said, “they are already here and this is the same as Reagan and Bush”. It’s always the White House talking points/MSNBC/Progressive Radio. As soon as the WH arms of the MSM utter the talking points, they fly out of her mouth. This, is what we are dealing with. A worship of the man, almost a Jonestown worship. Some of the cheapest, least generous people I personally know, are Democrats.
