I decided against tuning in for the lies. After 2 hours of common core home work with my 7 yr old my blood pressure can't take it.
I am so sorry about the homework!
A lot of my students come home with huge piles of books and hours of homework. Sometimes I think that the teachers just spend classroom time teaching to the test (FCAT) and send HOME the actual curriculum. The parents do so much to help that it is actually homework for THEM!
Even though I teach music, I sometimes pitch in and assist with the homework so the kid will have time to have his guitar lesson. English, History, Geography, Art, etc are easy.
Common Core Math is so confusing that I just can’t help with that.
