Legally no, a work permit does not make you a citizen. However in many ways this country is already treating illegals like citizens or better than citizens are treated in some cases, giving them a pass on things like vehicle licenses, insurance, registration. This country seems to not follow the laws anymore so who knows if a work permit/aka green card will lead to citizenship. Illegals and those that support them seem convinced this will lead to citizenship for all of them.

It’s sorta naive to think that the regime won’t do pretty much whatever the want as long as the Chicago mobsters are in control.US law has yet to ever stop them.
