Testimony is supposed to be secret.

During the active period in August, there was a group of folks on Twitter aggressively spreading wholly made up “police atrocity” stories. They didn't have to bear any relationship to reality, just sound "good". Civil disturbances of any type bring out the unhinged and agenda driven.

They’ve said from the git go that the entire proceedings would be made public after the verdict is announced. The only possible exception I’ve heard is whether some names will be held back.

I’m showing a forecast of cold rain for Saturday and Sunday there. Not below freezing but nowhere near good looting weather.

==> “Grand jury decision on Ferguson Officer Darren Wilson could come Friday” <==

King Obama is counting on it.

That is why he timed his Amnesty action for today.

That way the race riots and looting in Ferguson will knock news and discussion of Obama’s criminal amnesty action off the front pages.

If I were in charge, I would schedule the announcement several times in a row until people became disinterested.

Say several scheduled announcements (which would be canceled the day of the announcement) that would take the real announcement to mid to late January. Very cold in Missouri at that time with the possibility of snow.

This would also preserve the Black Friday sales and Christmas sales for this year which I suspect are a real issue with local retailers.

Well, the story is a little more convoluted. The article says that a 48 lead time was promised. Meaning that if the decision came Friday, that Monday would be the day of the announcment. It crams everything into Thanksgiving week.

Gotta give the local supermarkets time to stock up on frozen turkeys. What good is a flat screen tv if you don't have a traditional meal to go with the football games?

We’ve been seeing a buildup, particularly with the state of emergency and activation of the National Guard.

Perhaps the notice has already been given, but not telegraphed because it gives the rioters time to mobilize as well?

The terrorists will almost certainly pillage in Clayton - the county seat (and where I live). It’s affluent, and serves as home to the courthouse, prosecuting attorney’s office, St. Louis County Police hq and the County Government Center (where the County Executive works). Metrolink - the region’s light rail system - is conveniently situated, and will drop the thugs off just two blocks from the courthouse (and about three blocks from my place).

The last thing anyone in the Obama administration is worried about is distracting the media. The Mainstream Media is their wholly owned propaganda ministry.

Nice ace to have up your sleeve!

If they indict Wilson, I'm going to boycott all products made in Missouri!
(Um, does anyone know of any products made in Missouri?)

Well, Anheiser Busch for starters.

Also, it'll be a cold day in Hades before I go see another Cardinal game if they do indict Wilson.

If they indict we’ll have to deal with protests and lootings for the length of the trial - many months.

... and, iff the indict and go to trial, they”ll have to clean up after the acquittal.
