I would concede that there are FBI agents with impeccable integrity. Overall, though, the FBI, CIA, DOJ, IRS, SS are all pretty tarnished agencies full of political poison. We probably don’t want to know how bad it really is.

Neal Sher was (is?) a fanatic, headline-hunting, witch hunter. More than one innocent, elderly man was hounded by the OSI.
Ironically, when all this was going on, the US was siding with Pol Pot in the UN.

Reminds me of a movie with Kelly Mcgillis and Mandy Pantinkin - forgot the name but was about the import and shielding of Nazi’s in the 1950’s - good movie.
