Labrador cries foul on his leaders (The GOP-E Strikes Back!)
The Hill ^ | November 18, 2014 | Scott Wong

Conservative Rep. Raúl Labrador accused House GOP leaders Tuesday of pulling strings to help Rep. Bill Flores win the election to head the Republican Study Committee, underscoring tensions between Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) team and the right.

Labrador (R-Idaho) said GOP leaders mounted a whipping operation that included phone calls to help Flores (R-Texas) upset Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.), a Tea Party favorite, on the second ballot in the race for RSC chairman.

I heard Labrador is one of the least liked people in Congress.

Almost time for a party coup d’tat. They purge conservatives. We purge crony DC lifers.

Republicans are still determined to live by their motto: “We’re not quite as bad as the democrats.”

Bet Amash’s Republican Leadership Conference triples or more in size now.

This was a very stupid move by Boehner. The RSC was a good way to ‘control’ conservatives. But now it has no validity.

Can we start to call out all the freepers who were so nasty before the election, telling us we had to vote rino to save the Republic? I have been biting my tongue waiting for action instead of talk, but does anyone have an ounce of optimism with these clowns? Remember, the worst rinos is still better than the best Democrat.

People across the lines voted for them to do something to save the nation from Obama. The anger should lead to the leadership, not in dividing the conservatives and independents now. The republicans don’t know but if they fail here, their party is over..no coming back this time. They couldn’t pay people to get to the voting booth.

True. They fail and people will turn their backs. I will.

The funny thing is that Labrador is an amnesty proponent and earned only a B from Club for Growth.

The Tea Party is wasting time fighting the GOPe the decent way. They should be spending millions to dig up every ounce of dirt on Boner, McCarthy, McMorris-Rogers, McConnell et al and blackmail them.

Sounds like this is the guy we should be lobbying to STOP an overarching Omnibus Bill streatching well into next year (Sept.), as opposed to the CONSERVATIVE thing to do: Advance a short term CR, that funds government through January then allows a larger more conservative conference continue the fight..

Majority Whip: Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA).

Mick Menendez is worse than all of them. Id rather have some boring RINO.

Id rather have Boehner as the indecisive amnesty pusher than “badass” Trey Gowdy with his tough but fair amnesty lite.

He’s a flip flop.

A week after the 2012 election he and Steve King argued over amnesty.

Steve King’s positions have been identical. Labrador has flip flopped and changed his positions and keeps pushing his amnesty plan into a future year.
