Oh, there’s nothing to fear. Bob Goodlatte was just on the radio. He said there are a number of things Republicans can do, including censure, a lawsuit, and defunding. He hastened to assure listeners that doesn’t mean they WILL do anything specific.

I had no optimism when we won. We won nothing. The Chamber of Commerce won. We lost.
Suddenly the word “temporary” gets attached to his plan. Some defensive lawyering going on there, methinks. But he’s severely diluting the impact on his “Hispanic base”. Ponder the difference between “we’ll let your dad stay in the country” and “we’ll let your dad stay in the country for a while if you vote for us”. Simple extortion. The Chicago Way.

Looks like Mitch McConnell’s plan to commission Marco Rubio as amnesty spokesman has blown up in his face. Let us not forget that McConnell/ Rubio got this whole fiasco started shortly after the 2012 election. Mitch blew it, yet the brainless Senators in the GOP still elected him Majority Leader. Amnesty is coming, the GOP has made Congress as impotent as ever, and I don’t see how the GOP can possibly win over any Latino voters now. I think the end of the GOP is nearer than ever.
