Hawaii has some pretty high mountains/volcanoes. They even get snow on them.
Hawaiian mountains/volcanoes are some of the few places where you look down from the summit and truly see sites 10,000 feet below you. Most other >10,000 foot mountains have bases only about 5,000 feet below. There are very few places more geographically incredible.
