It already is. Mali, Congo, Nigeria(most likely), Kenya....take your pick. I have heard there are villages in countries like Sierra Leone that are completely gone, dead rotting unburied that no one will go near. But you won’t hear about those from anyone but people that have been there.

I think it would be a safe bet to say there are villages all over other African countries suffering from Ebola right now. These stories skim the surface of what is likely a much bigger problem then anyone is letting on. WHO says three times the amount reported are infected, it’s likely much more, which means the spread is much higher than the 2. whatever number a few weeks back.

I believe it’s just the HEAD IN SAND behavior, and arrogance of evil men. I cannot trust anyone in government anywhere, anymore. If they are saying there is a problem, then saying it’s 3x more of a problem then they admitted, while also telling the world the spread is way ahead of us, then no news is being reported about it very much anymore by western outlets after other governments say we need to stop it dead NOW or we’re in trouble, but still seeing it crop up all over the world every 7-9 days, I think we have a serious problem.

If people in level 4 bio-hazard protection are catching it, then its all over the place.

Hope this isn’t true, but won’t be surprised if in a few more months epidemics start cropping up in more third world countries, far from West Africa. I wouldn’t be surprised if epidemics started cropping up in impoverished areas of westernized countries....like Detroit. Chicago, NY, any place where there are a lot of people in a small area are at high risk with no travel bans even if it’s an affluent area.

I have seen and read much about Ebola, and I keep coming to the conclusion that it HAS to be airborne. There just isn’t any other way it could spread like this. The media reports Africans are stupid and paranoid. Then tell me why is it spreading even in the areas that aren’t living in sewage , eating dead monkeys, living in huts in the jungle?

Because it isn't. It has completely wiped out remote villages as you mentioned. But in the crowded slum (West Point) that they cordoned off in August, it did basically nothing. So they reopened the slum and went in and pulled out the sick and the dead. Their epidemic control is in shambles, but still there is no big epidemic there. On average it is spreading slowly, although there are bigger flairups in those remote villages or sometimes in the cities when there are no controls and people cart the dead and dying around in taxis.
