To vote against it, hurts America and puts us at risk of domination by Middle Eastern petro states

Which is exactly what radical leftist independent Angus King did.

He's from Maine, where loggers, fishermen, truckers, excavators try to make a living using diesel fuel.

Maine, where most people combat long cold winters using heating oil.

Maybe you would like to comment to one of his offices regarding his stabbing you in the back:

Bill Nelson if Florida votes with Obama about 98% of the time. The clown should be removed.

I is usually good to get the vote and make them defend their vote to the electorate. It will pass handily in the next Congress, hopefully with a veto proof vote.

Why bother to have a vote b4 January?

Trying to save Landrieu’s seat.

And then Oboingo - on orders from his big-donating radical enviros - will predictably veto it.

Need 67 votes to be able to tell him to shove it.

Why did Landrieu push for a vote when she didn’t have the vote?

Desperation. She's 16 points down going into re-election

Perhaps Angus should go visit with the good people of Lac Megantic and see how they feel about the continued rail transport of oil.

I think it was an instructive moment for democrats. Landreau was sacrificed by her own. The message was.....get in line and stay in line or the same will happen to you. They are all in for Obama, regardless of how counterintuitive it for the benefit of the country. Message sent....message received by all dems. They do not have the stones to stand up for the people who put them in office. It should be clear that that the people want this pipeline by a 4: 1 margin. But their retort is screw the public and their jobs.

We will see if the republicans heard the public.

Exactly. Dingy Harry gave Mary her vote, allowed endangered Dems like Bennet of Colorado vote in favor, and then drove the stake through it himself. He’s a real pal, isn’t he, Mary?

Harry Reid is gonna keep giving cover to Obama. This is the usual crap. The leader gets his way by 1 vote.

That’s almost within the margin of voter fraud.

I will smile if she’s sent packing.

Landrieu knew the fix was in even before she called for the vote. She was just playing a role in the Kabuki performance. It was all staged from the get go.

There is a side of me that asks why do we need Congress to approve the pipeline, just build the dang thing.

...

I don’t see why not. Illegal aliens waltz across the border welcomed by corrupt politicians and corrupt businessmen.
