The coming Democratic purity purge

Dana Milbank calls this the “Tea Party of the left,” but that’s not quite correct. Politically, the Tea Party grassroots couldn’t be more different than their progressive counterparts in the Democratic Party. One wants the federal government constrained in favor of individual and local prerogative, while the other wants to expand federal power to trump individual and local prerogative. Even the populism that runs through both movements comes from polar-opposite approaches.

RINOs — Republicans in Name Only

There are no RINOs. There are only liberal Republicans that are card-carrying Republicans and were elected as Republicans by liberal Republicans that held their nose.

Until the Republicans accept that they have liberals republicans in their midst, they will never get conservative.

It’s inevitable that the ‘Rat party veer further to the left.

It was once the liberal party, thence to the progressive party... next stop? communist party. [should make sure to return their color, red, back - the rightful owner]

But, its been the communist party all along, only with varying degrees of hiding it from their “stupid” voters.

Getting the 17th amendment passed was perhaps their crowning achievement, as it enabled so much more destruction to the American Republic than anything else.

Until Republicans OWN their liberal republican members, they can never move to being more conservative.

There are no RINOs.

I vote for the 15th and 19th.

The Maoists are going to purge the Stalinists.

There is no reason there could NOT be a Democrat party TEA movement

(they are not ALL moonbats, I know some WONDERFUL people who are dmocrats who have no idea their party is now the new home of the socialists, and actually believe ‘the government’ is here to “help people” )

Writing out liberal members by using the epithet RINO is part of the recipe of ownership.

The Species we used to call a “Democrat” is now extinct in the Democratic Party.

There are no more “JFK Democrats”, the last of those was Evan Bayh, and he got booted by the Obamunists because he wouldn’t play along with the Radical Socialist Agenda, and was considered a threat to Obama’s 2012 run.

Today’s Democrats now are a mixture of Radical Academic Socialists, Race-baiting and Racist Democrat Plantation Overseers, and the Corruptocrats like the Clinton’s,
(Who thought they could bring the radicals and their Soros Cabal money in, and control it.)

As Howard Dean so famously said about the Radical Dems after the 2004 election that John Kerry lost, “We OWN the Party now, lock, stock, and barrel. We bought it, it’s ours.”

Dean, of course, got his own come-upence when he dared to criticise THE ONE, THE GAY MEDIA MESSIAH, and became a Democratic Party Unperson. It was all very Orwellian.

No, RINO is a way to hide them as "imperfect Republicans" that can be voted for when all else fails.

They are liberal republicans. They must be politically destroyed, and NEVER voted for in the General election.

there needs to be consideration of the way....... the GOPc

Rather than continuing to bitch and moan about the GOPe, to continue the RINO creep, there must be real positive action within the GOPc

The Conservative agenda will be advanced by the GOPc

I will continue to try to politically destroy the GOP-E and liberal Republicans whenever I get a chance, at the primary AND the general election.

When no liberal republican can ever be elected, because being a liberal republican is a political kiss of death, the GOP-E won't be a problem anymore.

If you vote for a liberal republican, you are a liberal.

It’s almost bizarre to remember that in the 80s you had Democrats more conservative than Reagan in Congress.

Zell Miller was the last of the conservative democrats. Now, the party mainly consists of communist anti-Semites.

If I had read your post before I made mine, it would have saved me a few minutes of looking up Miller’s name, which I couldn’t remember :)

As long as there’s a long ditch involved, I approve of them cleaning up their act.
