Their first real snow at Munising on lake Superior was something like 40 inches. Looks cold up there today even with the sun shining. You can see the snow out over the lake though.

Nice. As a kid, I had a lot of fun with winter sports in MI. Hockey, tobogganing, sledding, skiing made the dark ages endurable. Now, I'm satisfied to watch winter via webcam.

The sun was shining here this morning too. Temperature of 11 degrees F and wind chill of minus six shining. But only around six inches of snow, so far. In that respect we’ve been lucky. Taking a Caribbean cruise with my wife and daughter this coming January and am half expecting to see ice bergs.
