Regulating any commodity or service automatically increases the cost of that commodity or service. Simple economics.
It also makes it more difficult to obtain because it puts it behind a layer of bureaucracy. Simple logic.
SO if you believe regulating the internet will make it "more free and more open" like Obama says, then you're stupid.

I don’t know if anyone ever thought it was “affordable.” What they thought is that it would be affordable for them because “the rich” were going to pick up the tab for 90%+ of America.
Laws like Obamacare happen because way too many Americans have a mindset of “gimme gimme gimme and make the “rich” pay for it.”
