Something tells me you've broken Google or have been hiding under a rock in recent weeks to have avoided the photos that were part of the story. Fix Google and start searching, shouldn't take more than 2 minutes to find the photos of the child's buttocks/upper legs. We'll wait while you catch a FACT, let alone a clue, as to where decent people have come down with an opinion.
That said, my thinking is Adrian was apparently a good and committed dad...
Real dads don't have to beat children until they leave marks and bruising. The highest title Peterson can achieve, by his own behavior, is Sperm Donor, IMO.

Nobody said he’d be reinstated. They said they’d consider the situation after the legal matter was settled. Now they’ve considered. I think it’s a little steep, but Goodell successfully changed the culture of the league with heavy handed punishments before.

I haven’t seen confirmation of the wounds. Therefore, I won’t convict him just yet.
Abusing a child is worse than abusing your wife.

Then he could have claimed beatings to be a "cultural thing" and everyone would have accepted it or been afraid to speak up.

Sorry. I thought it was in reference to a Dwight Howard thread I had posted in earlier. Yes. I’ve seen the pictures. Personally, I think it’s a legal matter that should be taken up by the courts. He deserved jail time.
My intent concerning Adrian Peterson was that the media tried to make this thug look like such a great guy. He was all over Wheaties boxes and everywhere else. Adrian isn’t a great guy or an honorable man. Any man that has baby mamas isn’t honorable.
