Those are all European races. Europeans founded the United States.

The British/Scotch/Germanic Americans of the 1800s would not have thought this way; the Irish, Italians, Poles, etc. were not "their kind" of European, and therefore suspect.

However, the question is not "who" founded the US, but "what." "What" founded the US is a combination of Judeo-Christian ethics and Aristotelian-Lockean political organization. Anyone of any culture willing to accept this combination could, and can, become an American, regardless of originating culture or race. Conversely, anyone of any culture unwilling to accept this combination chafes at becoming, or being, an American, regardless of originating culture or race.

The Korean immigrants who run the Oriental food store in the next town are not "white," but they are willing to accept Judeo-Christian ethics and are willing to accept the self-responsibility necessary for the bottom-up Aristotelian-Lockean politics that are embodied in our Constitution, and so, just as the Irish ate stew and the Italians ate pasta and the Poles ate kielbasa, the Koreans eat kimchi and bulgogi, but they think of themselves as Americans and have become just as much a part of the society as...the (legal) Mexicans who live down the street from me, who have outdoor fiesta parties a few times a year, play mariachi music and eat tortas, but pay their own bills and raise their own children and make the neighborhood a better place.

And that is why the races that make up America don't, and won't, matter--except for those that don't, or won't, accept Judeo-Christian ethics and Aristotelian-Lockean politics, and thereby continue to be a thorn in the side of the society, not because of the color of their skin, but because of the content of their character.
