Finally.
An additional 7,286 votes were added to the Alaska Senate totals today so far. And while Begich received almost 58% of those votes, Sullivan still leads by 6,211 votes. It is believed there will no more than 3,000 additional ballots to count by this Wednesday (Nov 19).

There's gotta be a few more trunk loads of newly found ballots somewhere.

Good news, but all the stories last week said there was something like 20,000 or 30,000 uncounted votes. What happened to those?

Democrat loses, they immediately appeal for “bipartisanship” and “compromise.”
Democrat wins, it’s “we won” and “shut the f up.”

I probably should have mentioned that Begich was the incumbent Democrat in the title, so this is a +1 for the Republican, bringing their Senate lead to 53-46 and a +8 for this election year. The Senate runoff in Louisiana remains.

I don't doubt they tried. It was expected on Election night that there would be 24,000 early and absentee ballots to count, plus an expected 14,000 more absentee ballots. So, 38,000 additional ballots.
As of the last update half an hour ago, there have an additional 53,120 votes added to the Senate totals (slightly higher number of ballots), with this total expected to get about 56,000 votes. That's at least 18,000 ballots more than was reported on Election night. In a race with only 226,120 votes from Election Day, that amount is huge.
