Allies: It was no bitterness, all class, when Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was asked about a cowardly Obama aide anonymously calling him "chickensh*t." Just what you'd expect from an ex-special forces commando.
Is there an American politician of any stripe who could have restrained himself from blowing off some public steam after an unnamed White House source described him with a profanity that means "contemptibly petty" and "lacking courage"? Not likely.
But actual warriors, as opposed to the figurative kind, never have to prove their bravery; it comes naturally.
During his service in the Israeli Defense Forces in the wars of the 1960s and '70s, Benjamin Netanyahu led a commando raid in Syria, one of his numerous special forces operations, and was wounded in battle twice.
If bullets and shrapnel couldn't break his spirit, name-calling certainly can't hurt him.
The extraordinary thing is that when CBS News' Bob Schieffer asked Netanyahu on "Face the Nation" Sunday about the insult, which appeared in the Atlantic magazine last month, the Israeli leader went far further than the familiar refusal to "deal with anonymous sources that issue all sorts of critical statements."

The political leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu is definitely something we need in America today.
Class act? Or doormat?
As long as we’re going to allow non-Americans to be President of The United States, how do we start a “Draft Bibi” movement?
Does anyone doubt that the narcissistic wimp that had the temerity to anonymously call Netanyahu, a decorated soldier with a heroic record, a chicken was none other than Obama himself?
I don’t doubt that from the way the Narcissistic-in-Chief has acted up to now.
nope
I still remember the last time Netanyahu spoke at a joint session of Congress. All the time he was speaking I was nearly in tears wishing he was our leader.
I don’t consider Netanyahu a doormat in any way. Obama smoked a lot of pot during his stay at Harvard Law, I seriously doubt Netanyahu was into that.
excerpt:
“Returning to Israel in 1967 to fulfill his military obligations, Netanyahu volunteered for an elite commando unit of the IDF and participated in a number of daring operations, including the release of hostages from a hijacked Sabena Airlines aircraft at Ben-Gurion Airport, an operation in which he was wounded. He was discharged from the IDF after six years with the rank of captain. Netanyahu then studied at MIT in Boston and received a B.Sc. in architecture and an M.Sc. in Management Studies. He also studied political science at MIT and Harvard University.”

Obama aides should be seen and not heard. Most adults like Netanyahu don’t take their insulta seriously anyway. Kids will be kids.

Has O ever said that he has given up drugs?
In Dreams from My Father he said that he was an "enthusiastic" drug user.
Has he ever been to rehab?
Let's face it. The man denies or tries to escape every problem -- just like a drug addict.
Waiting for the other Obama shoe to drop is the most captivating expectation among the electorate. When, indeed, will he be brought up on charges for his many, many crimes?
Excellent point, he does exactly that.
By his actions he does not carry out the duties of POTUS, he may well escape them in a drug induced coma.
