The problem with anything prophetic is nobody really knows what it means until after the fact... if even then. Nobody ever wrote a prophecy that said “and then a guy in his 50s who wears nice suits and drives a 2030 model Caddy will start the apocalypse by assassinating a significant French dignitary”. In modern parlance all prophecy is written “vague-book” style, so it’s all about interpretation.

If no one really knows what a prophecy means, even after the fact, it’s not much of s prophecy, is it? Why should anyone give credence to any prophecy?

They are written vague, because they have no real substance.
