I knew a skilled yacht painter in Charleston SC 20 years ago. He also did high-end private plane and jet painting jobs. He did a custom paint job for Cosby’s jet and was around him long enough to be shocked. He said he had never met or known somebody who was so 180* different in real life from the crafted TV persona. He was a screamer, a dictator, and a constant humiliator of his family, posse, assistants, and even temporary employees like him when no cameras were rolling.

Bill Cosby used to practically bunk at the Playboy Mansion in LA. He had his run of the white women there, back in the day few playboy bunnies were black. Though you had some Asian and Eurasian ones

Back in the mid seventies there was an upscale club in Denver that would headline Cosby for a week at a time . I knew many of the girls that worked there . They hated him . He was allowed “ anything “ he wanted and if you complained , you were out of a job . I don’t know why they continued to work there .
My brother met him in the early 80s and said much the same. Foul mouthed and rude were a couple of ways he characterized him. He had been a fan prior to that meeting and was greatly disappointed.
