Don’t these repub pols realize they are quickly becoming this century’s Whigs? What oafs.

These jerks are focused on their own fortunes to the exclusion of the welfare of their party, not to mention the nation. Apparently they don't care what happens to the party in another decade, as long as they have their position as long as they want it.

Its probably always been this way to one degree or other but I believe in the past most politicians stepped up and acted in the national interest when they had to.

Not these guys, though.
