Colorado is now a step closer to allowing teachers to be able to protect their students against gunmen.
500 teachers. Impressive.
But..but..schools are gun-free zones..</sarc>
Were any of them nuns?
“Uh, unruly kids?”

Addendum to the above: Given the well documented violent feeding frenzy behavior often observed among Urban Feral packs, a Saiga-12 with a 20 round drum would be a better choice.
YMMV.

I don’t think they will be shooting any unarmed kids in school. A big boy will take the gun from a teacher because they can’t/won’t shoot someone unarmed or it will be ferguson all over again.
This is assuming, of course, that they’ve secured their licenses and permits to practice the other nine amendments to the Bill Of Rights.
Any social conservative who has worked much in any one of most Colorado schools knows that they’re radical lefties—nearly all of ‘em (especially in districts on the Range).
Homeschool.
Hope the diminutive bloomberg, with all his hired guns, is listening.
FREE!? Who’s paying THAT tab?
Probably most of them were more worried about a school shooting, but at least one of the teachers was a survivor of this school incident:
