My conservative elderly mom watches Good Morning America faithfully, and swallows much of the bilge that they churn out with a good-natured smile. I’m constantly having to bring her back to earth.
My elderly (94)mother is the same way. Problem is, I’m 300 miles away and don’t see her that often and when something gets ingrained in her, it’s hard to get out and she votes too.
7 of us siblings have been working on mom for years to get the Roosevelt democrat out of her, with limited success. We’ll just keep on loving her.
