Do a thought experiment of letting everything else remain the same but change the person’s gender from male to female.
Would any male supervisor dare to complain about her attire? At least, without a 3 day careful consultation of the corporate personnel manual and lengthy discussions with both his boss and HR. And even then, I wonder if he would be taking a big risk to say anything lest it be interpreted as sexual discrimination...
That shirt is totally out of place in a professional place of employment regardless of the gender of the fashion criminal.
I never saw the women I worked with wear anything even remotely similar.
The one or two scantily clad women employees I ever worked with were usually ‘self correcting’. They got their ‘catch’ (board of directors member, senior management, etc) and moved on. OR they realized that no other females were dressed in such a manner and went shopping and saved the cootchie cootchie clothes for their spouse/boyfriend and the weekend. No management would have ever allowed them in public as a company representative dressed in a way that would have caused the company or organization such embarassment.
I blame the management. Someone had a coat or lab jacket they could have insisted he put on before he appeared on camera.
He looked like a frat boy. Or teen.
And he probably lets his wife drive.
