Isn’t there a doctrine or belief in Islam that once a prayer service is held in a building, that building belongs to Islam?

There’s a doctrine that says if you have a muzzie parent...you’re a muzzie...period. It overrides the citizen cr**.

That is what I thought too. Supposedly when the Muzzies conquered Jerusalem one of the clerics invited the Muslim general to pray at the Holy Sepulcher but he refused citing if he prayed inside then it would converted to a Mosque.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

The instant that first Muslim prayer is prayed, the whole thing becomes a mosque.

At least the National Mosque would have god fearing worshipers whoever twisted than the current agnostics who fill the place.

Consider the fate of the Hagia Sophia, a one-time Christian church standing in what today is Istanbul.

Add a couple of minarets, and stock the interior with an armory and bunking facilities, and the National Cathedral would make a great military depot.
