Climate Change Made Simple

“Weather isn’t climate.”

Now that we’re once again in the grips of Polar Vortex or Arctic Blast or whatever we’re calling it this time, you’re going to hear that refrain a lot.

“Weather isn’t climate.”

And that’s true, of course — until it isn’t. Over a long enough timespan, weather IS the climate. If your tropical beachfront property has had a century of temperate seasonal weather, complete with snowstorms and summer dry spells, it would probably be a mistake to keep calling it tropical. Things change. Climate typically changes slowly, but it does change. There are ancient tropical ferns and palm trees buried under the ice of Antarctica. So of course the climate changes, and expecting stasis on a planet where the continents move around is insanity. Even our sun is somewhat variable, going through periods where it emits more light and heat, and periods of less.

The global warmists are correct when they point out that a cold spell is not evidence that global warming is not occurring. They are also hypocrites since they are the first ones to crow about how any major hurricane is evidence in favor of global warming. Neither the hurricane nor the cold spell is, in fact, evidence for or against climate change.

Weather isn’t climate, unless it supports Aglore’s anthropological climate change scam and then it is.

That is the beauty of changing from Global Warming to Global Climate Change and now Global Climate Disruption.

It doesn’t matter if it is warm, cold, wet, dry, windy, not windy, cloudy, not cloudy. Regardless of what the weather happens to be, you can always claim that it is proof of Global Climate Disruption.

Since the weather always changes, it's an excellent way to always keep people worried. And thus controllable.
IMHO, the climate fear mongers are more dangerous than any climate change.
We can adapt to climate change, if any. We have done so many times over the centuries.
History shows that the warm spells were mostly beneficial.

Sorry but climate change is real. Here in New York for example in July the temperature hit 90 degrees and there were leaves on the trees. And now it is November and the temperature is 50 degrees and the leaves are falling off the trees. HELLO, the climate has changed! Something has to be done or the climate may change again!

I pray for global warming. When the next ice age comes, which it will, the future of the human race may depend on a few degrees of warming now.

Not that long ago, there was 1500 feet of ice over Chicago.

Isn’t it “interesting” that the coming of “anthropogenic global warming” coincides with the advent of globalism, and the desire of globalists to control the non-elite world population?

May I suggest that you call the epa to come in and do studies to prove that you are correct in your observations? You COULD be just making this stuff up ya know. :>}

Too bad for me that I fall in the N-E category. And apparently I’m also “not super-sophisticated”. :>}

Better yet, he could get a grant to study it. I figure you coul get a $200,000 grant to write down the temp on your porch thermometer every day before you go to work for a year or two. Then throw it into a nice excel spreadstheet with pretty graphs.

Sell it to the UN and maybe the IPPA could use it.

When I was kid we called that SPRING. Sheesh!

***So of course the climate changes, and expecting stasis on a planet where the continents move around is insanity.***

When I hear people (usually some family member) talk about climate change, I tell them that the only thing that is constant IS change. That’s when they change the subject.

For the purposes of my statement, “non-elite” means all those not part of the globalist/bankster cabal. You can be a Nobel Prize winner, a university professor, or the head of a powerful Orthodox Christian nation (you know who I mean), and you’re still “non-elite”.

Phooey!!!!

Would that it were so now! I hate that dump worse than any other dump in the United States...the dump that gave us obama AND hitlery clinton, not to mention any number of other corrupt bottom-feeding politicians...I remember when I was in the navy and riding the train through the south side of Chicago (1977); it looked like Beirut then, fires in garbage cans, boarded up buildings everywhere...we should just nuke the whole place, I honestly don't see a single redeeming thing about that corrupt s*hi*thole! And please don't try to tell me about the vibrant night life, and the great museums, restaurants, etc. A pox on that horrible place. I would take Detroit any day!
