Hopefully Obama continues to parallel Truman, in 1946 Truman was crushed and the rats lost Congress. 2 years later he was reelected in an election that was only close because Thurmond and Wallace took votes from him, the rats regained Congress with gusto. 1950, Truman is reamed again and then rats are left with thin majorities. Ike wins in 1952.
While the smart money is on slight rat gains in both Houses for 2016, nothing is written in stone. Who dafuq thought the rats would gain Senate seats in 2012.
