ST. LOUIS A private forensic pathologist who performed an autopsy on Michael Brown will testify before the grand jury deciding whether to charge the Ferguson police officer who shot him, the attorney for Brown's parents said Wednesday.
Attorney Benjamin Crump confirmed that former New York City Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Michael Baden is scheduled to testify Thursday. Ed Magee, a spokesman for St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch, declined comment. Messages seeking comment were left with Baden.
Crump said Brown's parents are pleased that Baden will testify, but skeptical about the objectivity of the process.

Is this the idiot that spoke on behalf of the family, who has no credentials, or is it a real forensic doctor?
What have they been doing?
I thought Grand Jury was secret.
Secret and wasn’t the GJ ready to announce it’s findings? IIRC it was supposed to be early this wee.
I bet that some officials are making them keep deliberating until they come up with the "correct" decision.
I honestly think they are waiting for the coldest week of winter to make their announcement.
Except Baden didn’t perform the autopsy.

Evidently not secret for the Brown’s family’s attorney. The prosecutor’s office is neither commenting nor confirming.
The prosecutor has stated that the grand jury is still reviewing evidence and will announce its decision sometime in mid-to-late November; and that anything reported other than this is “rank speculation.”

Baden maintains a private forensic pathology consulting practice and is co-director of the New York State Police Medicolegal Investigation Unit.
On June 11, 2009, it was reported that Baden was hired by the family of the late actor David Carradine to investigate the cause of Carradines death in a Bangkok hotel room. According to press reports, Badens initial conclusion is that Carradines death was not the result of suicide.
He is also a frequent guest on Fox Newss late-night satire program Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld where he is known as the Death Correspondent.
BS release the report and unleash the dogs of war
Witnesses aren’t sowrn to secrecy.
“I honestly think they are waiting for the coldest week of winter to make their announcement.”
+1
He didn’t perform an “autopsy,” he gave the corpse a once-over at the embalming station in the funeral home.
The water cannon will be quite effective in below freezing weather.
I’m surprised they don’t release it while Obola is out of the country. He wouldn’t want to drag his pretty skirts through this cesspool.
I don’t know why the family supports Baden testifying. He isn’t very strong in support for them. He only is supporting some of their assertions on an academic level solely due to pathology.
They’ve spun his statements to be in their favor. Without the spin his testimony isn’t helpful for them.
Michael Baden is world famous.
I mixed him up with the one they dragged out of nowhere (with no credentials) to claim the boy giant had his hands up in surrender.
