Somebody needs to figure out if the Dam across the Ohio (on the border with Mitch) is ever going to be finished.

"The U.S. Congress authorized spending 775 million dollars to replace two 1920's era Ohio River dams in 1988 with an estimated completion date of 1995; funding was appropriated and released in 1991.[2] The design was performed after July 1997.[2] The latest completion date for the project is 2024 at an estimated cost of 3.1 billion dollars."

You tell me why things are more expensive than many years ago. We use to have do’ers in this country, not milkers. I saw some Kentucky boys resurface a 20 mile section of highway in two weeks that was as smooth as glass. In my own state I saw construction work on a 20 mile section of highway last twenty years. Government involvement is my first pick, Ohio has an abundance of bureaucrats.
