Media in Atlantic Rim countries?
I went back to see if this came from Pravda or Krasnaya Zvezda.
There is a Russian intellectual/philosopher that is promoting the currently popular idea(in Russia) that has the central idea that the USA and the UK being in the water or near it differ strongly from land or earth based countries like Russia or Germany. The water based countries have strong navies and international trade. This, in their theory, leads to a corrupt unnatural society. The proper society is land based with internal trade and few “foreign” contacts.
The proponent of this idea labels the “water” society “Atlantis”. It is pretty wild reading.
