Russia's long-range bombers will range from the Arctic Ocean to the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico on regular patrol missions, the military said Wednesday, a show of muscle reflecting tensions with the West over Ukraine.

I don’t ever recall them coming this far. Did they fly to the Caribbean during the CW?

Quite frequently, into and out of Cuba. And their submarines were on this side of the pond on a regular basis as well.

President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry told the Organization of American States in November 2013 that the Monroe Doctrine was dead.

So last year...

I gathered that the USA is going to greatly reduce our carbon output in exchange for...NOTHING.

...

Our carbon output is below Kyoto protocol levels thanks to natural gas and fracking. Our petroleum and water usage is about the same as it was 50 years ago.

Notice Putin is standing next to the China Premier? Figures, since they are both becoming imperialistic. President Reagan would have never allowed this and I doubt even W Bush would have allowed this state of affairs. The man can't go to hell fast enough for my satisfaction.

The House and now the Senate have a clear mandate. Return us to our workable foundations. If McConnel returns the Senate to old rules that Reid did away with, I bet there will be even a bigger purge in the Senate in 2016.

Damn. It's a matter of time before one of these old junks simply fail down. Hopefully these muppets don't put nukes into it.

Giving up arms right for free, like Bloomberg wants it as any greedy kind of bilionaire, is what they seek.

Obama is a Marxist who not only motivates statism amongst the mass against the legitimately rich and successful, but he also builds distrust between reachable idiot billionaires and the people, pushing for their embrace of population disarmament, abortion and climate change.

It is a double dip in betrayal for total control, splitting relationship between rich and the rest, while disarming both at the urge of each side.

Yes. I don’t think he is “incompetent” at all.

I think he is evil.

That is true, but it doesn’t fit the “narrative.”

No.

We have 45 minutes warning when Russians set off their ICBM...(thanks to radar) but with bombers coming within minutes of vital targets (on ‘routine’ reconnaissance flights) we won't have time to stop them.

This is more like prep for a hot war than a resumption of the cold war.

You probably forgot 1970-1980s when Soviets had some 700 bombers operational at any moment, supported by some hundred tankers flown from Santa Clara, Cuba and Kam Ranh, Da Nang in Vietnam.

Swarms of them buzzed around East Coast and USN ships everywhere in Pacific on a daily basis, for some reason it never made any news and no missiles were fired as well.

What has changed today? There are just a couple bombers getting around for lols, probably unarmed. Let the crews have a couple beers and sunny beach down the Caribbean, it is really depressing in Russia this time of the year.

Or we could invite them down for a beer and they can tell us what it is like to have a man for President.

What the hell is he wearing?

A President should look like THE PRESIDENT. Tailored suits for any and all public events.

That looks like some of Michelle’s curtains.
