Interesting that Google the front page shows all the military men in the background and the woman out front on the Veteran's Day page.

What is it with Google advocating for all of the ideas that seem to run counter to the way I was brought up? Or, what is wrong with me? /s

What a cartoonish, infantile illustration, like it’s an afterthought.

Your picture is of the Tower of London.

The poppies are ceramic, and there is one for each of the 888,234 British men who died in WW1.

The poppies flow out of one window and then around the walls.

A very sobering picture of the sacrifice of a nation.

Nearly ALL of the recruiting commercials on TV do the same.

“Women & Minorities First!”

I can’t wait until they put the Fairies in Pink tutus, or the Dykes in biker outfits in the mix.

So, you were brought up that women should stand behind men? Or the service & sacrifice that women in the military make doesn’t mean as much?

Maybe Google is honoring Colonel Joni Ernst’s election to the Senate. AS IF!

I’m surprised Google hasn’t dumped Veterans Day for the ChiCom Singles Day, which CNBC was celebrating today in their first hour coverage. Watch the Left push this selfish holiday on Nov. 11 in the future.

Look more closely at the illustration. There’s a black woman in the group, back with the males, on the right, wearing a green uniform. If Google wanted to (appear to) honor the women, they should have honored ALL the women.

I know that anything I can do is infinitesimal, but some time ago I quit using Google for anything if I can help it.

If you look for offense, you’ll find offense quite easily.

I served with many women over my career and I don’t see anything wrong with the illustration. Besides, she appears to represent an Air Force Lt. Col so should be at the front.

Couldn’t they stand side-by-side? Or were you brought up that men and women can’t stand together?

I don’t think women are 40% of the military.

I don’t think blacks are 40% of the military.

And I don’t think white males are only 20% of the military.

Google just tried to get everyone in the picture but they forgot native Americans, Asians and a host of other ethnic groups.

Much ado about nothing I think.

Google is ultra-liberal, so they are quietly racist.

There’s no questions what Google’s motives are every day of the week.

I was. At least in the presence of a fight, which is what the military does

But that’s me. And I’m a girl. And a vet. And a combat vet

At the VA hospital, on a recent visit, there I saw it

The poster child of PTS. Three white men veterans

The only time I see only white men in a military advertisement is when they look like they’ve been ravaged and relieved of their weapons

It is a complete disgrace. Google AND the VA PR TEAM owes them more than tgat

But I know first hand what they’ve done for us
