I absolutely refuse to eat the rotting corpses of slaughtered, suffering animals whose last moments life were filled with fear, confusion and agony - my philosophy is you are what you eat.

Your "philosophy" is absurd, IMO.

Consuming the flesh of animals is a normal and essential part of the Human diet, and has been so for the entire history of our species. We are what we are due to the FACT that we eat what we eat, and we have advanced our species to this point due to the fact that we have learned to cook animal flesh and consume it which has allowed our Brains to get bigger and thus advance Human intelligence thus advancing society.

Do what you feel you need to do, no skin off my back, but without the habits and behavior of those who came before you our society would not exist, and neither would you most likely. To subscribe to your beliefs will bring an eventual end to our society and humans dominating the top position of the food chain on this planet, but hey, if you think that your belief is best for you, go for it!

Normal for you, not for me. Animals are sentient and helpless creatures of God and they have souls. I think they deserve to live their lives just as abortion victims do. I won’t eat them or support wholesale slaughter of animals or children. It is unnecessary.

"...I absolutely refuse to eat the rotting corpses of slaughtered, suffering animals whose last moments life were filled with fear, confusion and agony..."

What if the animals' last moments were pretty good, like maybe it was getting a back rub?

I'd probably eat that animal.

Still waiting for the Japanese to invent Wagyu chicken.
