Even Sr. recognizes ole Jeb Bush is Liberal Republican, not a Conservative T.E.A. Party Republican.
Jeb is Paleo-conservative, stuck in faded amber, whereas the Tea Party is mostly Neo-conservative, carved by the sweeping winds of change, with
all it’s edges still sharp, fine and distinct.
This is a 7000 word essay on Federalism. Skip to the last section, marked "Federalism Today", and see why that is believed to be impossible.
Huntsman who? Does he really think anyone cares about what he thinks?
Squishy Libs like him need to just get it over with, like Charlie Crist did...become a Democrat.
It’s easier.
Every time I’ve heard that some multi-millionaire or -billionaire is not leaving any of his money to his kids (which is the case with Huntsman) he turns out to be a real S.O.B.
Doesn’t mean we should give up and just let it get worse.
“...ruined the GOP”
Translation: “...ruined the sweet little deal we had. All we RINOs had to do was get along to go along to keep our minority position. Great salary and benefits for family and friends. Sure we get slapped around once in a while. And, really, as long as I get mine, who cares if the constitution is scrubbed. Fly-over country?! Sorry, I have important things to think about.
Now wait, which is it? One says there’s way too much influence and another says Tea Party is dead and impotent.
One thing for sure, Tea Party obviously still scares the crap out of both sides.
Mr. Huntsman, I applaud your philanthropy, but I despise your political views.
The best part of our Constitution is that we all have a voice and a vote, even those on reduced hours, unemployed, and struggling to survive; those working hours and hours trying to hold on to their jobs.
This is something you can’t relate to. You sound like the rest of the elites, “We know what’s best for you and this nation.”
How is that thinking different from the Democratic agenda?
This is nothing but a power play. You will lose.
I find far more sense among us low-lifes than I hear coming from your ranks.
I’m in complete agreement with you.
Thanks for tidying up my post.
To Mr. Huntsman, this means the Tea Party has destroyed the GOP. From Mr. Huntsman's point of view, all I can say is "huh?"
