An outright lie and more sour grapes from sore loser Rachel Weiner. In fact, Congress will gain more respect now with more Republicans coming.

Most of the nation thinks it’s time to cut about 50% of government jobs. The under-worked and overpaid parasites have to issue thousands of regulations every year to justify their fat pay checks, and the country suffers.

I think the take away line for the election is Joni Ernst’s “from the biscuit line at Hardees to the chambers of the US Senate”. In other words, a normal person goes to Washington. I hope she can keep normal, and curb the nervous laugh.

In January, Virginia will have gained three new members in Congress — but lost 71 years of seniority, including a valuable stronghold in Republican leadership.

Now, place that against the background, as exemplified by the Great One, that prior to the progressive era, the average Congressman's stay in the House was around 4 years.

Seniority??? Pffffft! We don' nee' no steenking seniority!

(And, as usual, one of Maryland's next door neighbors is having more fun than we.)

Maryland "Freak State" PING!

then-House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) had a plan to mitigate the damage. He would make the case that the commonwealth should get one and possibly two new seats on the powerful Appropriations Committee.

We here in Virginia are supposed to line up behind the politicians who bring us the pork. Meanwhile we are printing money to fund the deficit and screwing future generations out of a country. F all the politicians, every one of them.
