It was truly a remarkable two-and-a-half minutes.
The other panelists alongside Chris Matthews on the MSNBC Election Special sat in stunned silence as the long-time liberal Democrat tore into Barack Obama following the president’s post-midterms news conference.

After a stunning few moments, one has to ask if Matthews’ “thrill up my leg” reaction to the early Obama has finally turned into a chill down his neck about a late-term president so detached and out of touch with political reality…and so apparently ready for a colossal fight.
Matthews went on a non-stop rant about Obama’s deafness and determination — his deafness to the loud voice of an electorate angry over his policies, and his determination to push ahead with executive orders granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
Nationalreview.com points out the direct hits Chris Matthews landed on Obama’s apparent indifference to the will of the American people:
“There’s something in this guy that just plays to his constituency, and acts like there’s no other world out there,” the MSNBC host lamented. “And that’s going to be a collision at the end of this year like you’ve never seen. I do believe it’s will be waving a red flag in front of the bull. I think Mitch McConnell’s headed for a fight with the president.”

It figures that Matthews would maybe start to get a clue after it’s far too late to matter.

My gosh he sounds like a "Blue Dog" Democrat in this, something that has been purged from the ranks eons ago, his ole' boss "Tip" would be proud. He must be feeling that "his" party is on the verge of collapse if it continues in the direction of Lear Deader.
But Matthews fails in this, he came close, but he still doesn't get the narcissist we are dealing with and what I learned recently. And that that is, the silver spoon get my way life the Leader has lived. No one has ever said no to him, other than is spouse perhaps, and no, he hardly ever voted in Ill or voted present ditto that in the Senate. It is that part he missed which should have been his area to learn how to wheel and deal. He didn't do it in upbringing, my guess is more Fr-er's would do a better job @ buy a new or used car than the person we are discussing....
